Day 3: An inspiring quote
“I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing that I wanted to do.” – Georgia O’Keeffe
Back in 2012, my mom and dad took my family with them on an 11-day trip to Ontario. We spent most of the time hauling our butts from one family visit to another, but there was one notable exception: One afternoon, Matthew and I “kidnapped” my dad and went on a totally spontaneous Toronto outing. We ended up at the CN Tower, and decided to go up. My dad and I are both afraid of heights (no, let me restate, TERRIFIED of heights…ugh…heights…*shudder*), but we went up anyway. We almost had tandem panic attacks at the top (THERE ARE WINDOWS IN THE FLOOR…OH GOD!!!), and we snapped this photo:
Going up the CN Tower completely terrified us. We did it anyway, and now I have one of my all-time favourite photos to remember it by. <3
Day 4: Shadows
We went to my parents’ place for Easter this year, and I snapped this photo of my mom’s Green Man candle holders. It was hard to find shadows on this cloudy, cloudy day (when will winter EVER end?!), but I finally managed it.
