The Client:
Darn Yarn (along with 19 indie dyers)
The Assignment:
Allen of DarnYarn.ca asked me to create a series of posts that would feature indie yarn dyers from the Darn Yarn family and give them a platform to share their passion with shoppers.
The Process:
I sent each dyer a short questionnaire, inviting them to tell me about their business and how they fell in love with hand-dyed yarn. I took those answers and turned them into stories, weaving in quotes from the source material and checking in for final approval before posting.
The Outcome:
Together, we created a series of personal, passionate blog posts spotlighting talented indie dyers from around North America and their love for fibrecrafts. Darn Yarn closed up shop in September 2024, and the blog has been archived, but you can see some examples at the link below.
